Methodology
- Lunar mode: Uses that year’s Chinese New Year’s Day in your timezone. Born before CNY ⇒ previous animal; on/after ⇒ current animal.
- Advanced (Solar) mode: Uses Li Chun (Beginning of Spring) in your timezone. Born before Li Chun ⇒ previous animal; on/after ⇒ current animal.
If you don’t know the exact time, leave it blank (we assume 00:00 local). For births within a few hours of the boundary, book a consultation.
