Da Liu Ren commonly works with a fixed Earth Plate and a Heaven Plate established through the monthly general and divination hour. From their relationship, practitioners derive upper–lower relations used in the Four Classes and later the Three Transmissions.
The Twelve Heavenly Generals form another ordered symbolic layer. The Four Classes, Three Transmissions, and Generals should not be renamed as a generic “Human Plate” without identifying a specific source or teaching convention. Doing so risks importing the three-level language used elsewhere and blurring distinct mechanics.
Earth provides positions. Heaven shows what rests above them.
The details of monthly-general determination, plate rotation, and day/hour conventions must follow the chosen text or lineage. The conceptual distinction remains essential.

The order prevents an attractive General from overriding a blocked significator or incoherent transmission.
