Salty Pool (咸池), or Xian Chi, is a Year-or-Day-Branch marker associated with heightened attraction, pleasure, social magnetism and the risk of blurred boundaries.
Attraction becomes useful only when desire remains accountable.
Xian Chi is an older name closely associated with the Peach Blossom formula. Its imagery emphasises bathing, exposure, pleasure and magnetism: conditions in which attention intensifies and boundaries may become easier to blur.
Its scope is wider than dating. The same visibility may support public-facing work, sales, performance, community building and creative careers. Attention is not compatibility, consent or commitment.
