Why HPDs Amplify or Soften

HPDs are defined by specific Yang day pillars within seasonal windows (Spring: Wu-Yin, Summer: Jia-Wu, Autumn: Wu-Shen, Winter: Jia-Zi). When an HPD’s stem/branch interacts favorably with your pillars, it amplifies permission. When it clashes, it still lowers friction but you should downscope or change the **hour** to avoid collateral risk.

Clash check: avoid direct clash with your day/animal branch; if present, downgrade scope or switch the hour.
Select the hour: choose a compatible hour for the decision-maker; act in their local time.
Structure the ask: apology/concession → proposal → signature path. Keep it short.
Paper it: lock the acceptance the same day; schedule the first milestone within 24 hours.
