震Zhen.The Arousing.

Thunder repeats above Thunder: shock arrives, the body reacts and awareness snaps into the present. Zhen concerns disruption, activation and the composure that preserves essential responsibility while everything else is startled.

䷲ Thunder over ThunderShock awakens disciplined attentionMovement · alarm · composurePair: 52 Gen
䷲
Shock is useful when fear becomes attention and attention restores correct action.
Core situation

Let disruption awaken responsibility rather than scatter it.

Zhen is Thunder, shock and sudden movement. Alarm begins with trembling but can end in laughter once the nervous system recognises a workable order.

The ritual ladle and wine are not dropped even when thunder terrifies a hundred miles. Composure is not the absence of reaction; it is continuity of purpose through reaction.

Structural anatomy

Thunder above. Thunder below.

Movement is doubled. The first shock wakes the system; the second tests whether awareness has become discipline.
