Each star expresses an elemental quality and behavior. Use this quick reference to understand the nature, strengths, and watchouts for all nine — with notes for the current Period 9 (2024–2043).

Each card summarizes a star’s element, trigram, core qualities, best uses, and common pitfalls. Treat these as tendencies; your natal house chart and overlays determine where and when to apply them.

- Element = Five-Element tendency (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water).

The Stars
1 — White (Tan Lang)
Best for: entrances, calls, client flow, calm sleep and recovery.
Watchouts: stagnation if blocked; excess moisture/leaks in North-related zones.
2 — Black (Ju Men)
Best for: low-traffic storage or grounding uses when stabilized.
Watchouts: illness-prone; avoid bedrooms/entrances during harsh overlays; keep clean and dry.
3 — Jade (Lu Cun)
Best for: daytime activation, new starts, workshops.
Watchouts: arguments, legal friction; avoid for bedrooms and delicate meetings.
4 — Green (Wen Qu)
Best for: study corners, creative work, light social zones, relationship rituals.
Watchouts: distraction or frivolity if over-stimulated; keep tidy and purposeful.
5 — Yellow (Lian Zhen)
Best for: none in sensitive uses; keep calm and low-activity if unavoidable.
Watchouts: major drilling/renovations; avoid placing beds/entrances here during overlays.
6 — White (Wu Qu)

Match Purpose
For relationships, favor #4/#1/#9 in suitable rooms; for wealth/career, #9/#1/#6; for health, #1/#6 and avoid #2/#5.

There’s no universal placement. Stars land in different sectors in each house and change with time. Use your natal chart and overlays — then apply the meanings above to those sectors.
